Well, here it is--The big belly bump and growing!

28 weeks preggo and growing

I can feel baby girl kicking me all the time now.

I received my first blow to the ribs last Friday. What a bizarre feeling!

I'm definitely hitting the stage where I want everything done and ready for the Baby. Although, there is no time to get things done right now. May is so jam packed w/fun things to do every weekend. It looks like I won't have a free weekend until the end of June. I hope that is enough time to get the nursery done.

Oh, the miracle of PRAYER!!!

THANKS TO EVERYONE'S PRAYERS--THEY HAVE BEEN ANSWERED. Baby Girl is well and her skull is forming as normal. The indentations are gone! All of my blood work came back fine and the Dr. stated that everything looks great!

It was great having Mom and Dad there with me for support and to share in the incredible video of her moving around in my belly. It is so friggin' cute! She had her arms stretched way above her head in touchdown motion and had her feet above her head. She could touch her nose to her knee (see photo). It is amazing how flexible they are.

ONE POUNDER....

Well, all the books state our lil' girl weighs about a pound now and let me tell you...She is strong!!! Today I had my hand resting on my stomach when all of the sudden it was pushed into the air. I could not believe how hard she had kicked. It is such an amazing feeling. I checked out the belly and I could actually see her pressing against it. So wild!
Oh, and at some point today while at work I split the rear of my pants! ha! I guess it is time to start wearing those stretchy pants. Everyone at work got a good laugh. This is all so funny.
P.S.
We have our follow up ultrasound on Tuesday. Hopefully, we will hear great news. I will post an update once we have one.

Tampa, FL "THE BIG LEAGUES"

DJ and I had such a blast this past weekend. DJ looks great out there with all of those big leaguers. I am so proud of the job he is doing. It was especially fun watching him work the plate Monday night for the Yankees/Reds game in Tampa. It was great to see and catch up with family and friends in the area as well. I got to catch up with Gary and Bonnie at the Tigers game in Lakeland. It was great to see Aunt Vi again at the Devil Rays/Phillies game in St. Pete, where I also got to meet her daughter, Marla, and 2 of her boys.

On another note, DJ got to see the growing belly.

The first night I arrived, DJ got to feel the baby kick for the first time. It is such an amazing experience. She is a mover and a shaker, especially at night. A sign for things to come I think. I may have some very late nights when she finally arrives. Well, more to come later.

Clearwater, FL

We had a fantastic lunch on the patio of Frenchy's. Then, went for a long walk on the beach. Of course, we had to stop and get some pictures of the belly bump. It was such a beautiful day and so calm on the water. Absolutely beautiful.

PUNTA GORDA, FL

Finally, meeting up with my bro and Leigh. DJ and I drove from Lakeland, FL after the game with the top down on the red 2008 Mustang Convertible. Good times. We met up with my brother and his girlfriend in Punta Gorda, FL for some GREAT Italian food and lots of belly laughs. I had a six pack from laughing so much and that is difficult to accomplish when my belly looks like I have spent the entire winter drinking 6 packs. tee-hee

KEEP BABY GIRL IN YOUR PRAYERS!!!

We had a follow up ultrasound today. There are some concerns about 2 indentations on the front of her skull. It appears that it could be nothing and her skull will develop as normal. The dr. stated that everything is in our favor that it will end up ok. Her celebral cortex and spine look great. She is developing as normal. Any added prayers will be a blessing. We have a follow up ultrasound on 3-25-08.
